Our core product Cestida platform  has been developed to address the needs of the (re)insurance industry for more technology choices in deploying and running catastrophe models. Catastrophe modelling technology is a business in which there are high barriers to entry, both in terms of required domain knowledge and cost of ownership. 

After more than a decade of studying the technical challenges and operational frictions in loss modelling technology as part of the core development team at Oasis Loss Modelling Framework, we're really proud of our commercial solution based on these industry-led open standards.

We believe the Cestida platform will make running loss modelling infrastructure on-premise or in a private cloud not only feasible for more organisations, but will help to drive down costs and provide a welcome alternative choice in how risk carriers and brokers can run their models to understand catastrophe risk.
